Concord Food Co-op is seeking a reliable cleaner for the Concord store to maintain floors, bathrooms, and offices. The role supports daily maintenance and cleanliness across the facility.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, washing floors, restrooms, dusting and trash removal. Night and weekend shifts required; prior cleaning experience is a plus; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow directions is essential.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop main store floors, vestibule, back hallway and stairs.
• Clean and stock restrooms; wash floors in offices and downstairs areas.
• Dust, disinfect surfaces, and empty trash; keep breakroom tidy.
• Report maintenance repairs and ensure dispensers are filled.
• Move heavy objects as needed and maintain general store cleanliness.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties

• Sweep, vacuum, and or/dry mop the entire main floor of store, vestibule, back hallway and stairs
• Sweep and/or dry mop floors in office hallway
• Wash entire main floor of store
• Clean and stock all restrooms
• Clean breakroom
• Vacuum and empty trash in offices once a week
• Wash floors downstairs once a week
• Available for night and weekend shifts
• Keep paper products, soap and other dispensers filled.
• Identify and report possible maintenance repairs.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean building by emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces.
• Clean, dust and disinfect surfaces.
• Use environmentally friendly cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Additional duties as assigned

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

• Works with direction from the Customer Service Manager
• Performs a limited number of tasks independently

Experience and Educational Requirements

• There are no educational requirements, though prior experience is a plus.
