Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hiring a Store Cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register and greeting donors and customers.

You will ring up sales, handle cash and card transactions, provide accurate change, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area while following store policies. This on-site role requires basic computer skills and a professional attitude.

Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred, and candidates must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School education or equivalent preferred; previous retail or cashiering experience is highly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of touch screen cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Ring up sales transactions accurately at the cash register.
• Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
• Direct customers to proper areas and provide information as requested.
