Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Store Cashier to provide excellent customer service while operating a cash register at our retail locations. Major duties include ringing up sales, greeting customers and donors, and assisting shoppers with inquiries.

You will follow cash-handling procedures, direct customers to the proper area, and help maintain an organized, welcoming store environment. Prior retail and cashiering experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with touch screen registers.

Responsibilities

• Ring up all sales transactions and operate the cash register.
• Greet and assist customers and donors in a courteous manner.
• Direct customers to appropriate areas and provide general information as requested.
• Maintain a clean and orderly register area and follow cash handling procedures.
