Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking a Store Cashier to provide excellent customer service, handle cash and operate a cash register at our Orlando store.

Responsibilities include greeting customers and donors, ringing transactions, giving correct change, and maintaining a tidy register area while following store policies and procedures. Prior cashiering or retail experience is preferred, and basic computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior cashiering or retail experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with touch screen registers.

Responsibilities

• Ring up all sales transactions at the cash register and provide friendly service.
• Assist donors and customers, answer questions, and direct them to the proper area.
• Maintain a clean, organized register area and follow cash handling procedures.
