The Store Attendant position is a key role to the ongoing success of our stores. They provide customers with fresh, quality products ensuring the return of customers time and time again.

Summary of the position:

The grocery clerk plays an important role in the ongoing functions of the grocery/dairy/frozen departments. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include:

Reliability- Regular and predictable attendance;

Asks customers if they need assistance within any departments;

Accurately and efficiently stocks products within the grocery/dairy/frozen departments;

Monitors products being stocked to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations;

Maintains a thorough knowledge of products provided by the department;

Informs department manager when products is low or out of stock;

Checks for pricing and signing accuracy;

Ensures State and County safety and sanitation standards are met with all equipment, surfaces, and floors within the department and the proper methods are used when handling food;

Bags groceries, corrals shopping carts and helps the front end team when needed;

Helping with bottle machines, garbage maintenance, vacuuming, and any other tasks that arise, directed by management;

Reliability- Regular and predictable attendance;

The ability to work at minimum, two days during the week and one weekend day;

Grocery and/or retail experience preferred;

Exceptional communication skills;

Highly motivated individual;

Team player with the ability to work independently at times;

Ability to multitask, be focus and efficient;

The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time;

Ability to reliably commute, or planning to relocate before beginning employment.
