Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the primary customer contact and help maintain plan-o-grams and merchandising programs. You will stock and rotate merchandise, assist customers, and operate the cash register to complete sales with accuracy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and provide assistance on the sales floor.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
