Role Description The Store Associate Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Lancaster, PA, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role oversees sales floor activities, helps manage team scheduling and performance, and ensures that merchandising, inventory, and visual standards are consistently maintained. The Store Associate Manager contributes to achieving sales goals, monitors store operations for loss prevention and safety compliance, and assists with opening and closing procedures. This position also focuses on coaching and developing store associates, fostering a positive, inclusive work environment, and upholding DSW service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused approach, with skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
• Effective Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and team members.
• Experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, managing schedules, and driving sales performance.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help protect company assets and maintain a safe store environment.
• Previous retail or fashion/footwear experience, preferably in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
