Responsibilities of a Store Associate

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Assist customers with purchases and locating items.
• Perform cashier and customer service duties.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and consumables.
• Support inventory management, including stocking and counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms and outside grounds.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Close registers, balance, and report variances.
• Prepare and deliver hot food items as per standards.
• Assist with fuel spill cleanup as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and report issues.

Work Environment

• Primarily in retail store settings.
• Work around fuel pumps, vehicles, and outdoor grounds.
• Potentially in hot or cold environments.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods.
• Move freely around the store.
• Climb stairs/ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
• Push or pull equipment and items.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
