Store Associate Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
• Assist customers with purchases and locating items.
• Handle cashiering and customer service tasks.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Participate in inventory management activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms and outside grounds.
• Follow all company policies and safety standards.
• Close and reconcile registers; report discrepancies.
• Ensure hot food items are prepared and served according to standards.
• Assist in fuel spill cleanup when necessary.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in a retail store setting.
• Work around fuel pumps, vehicles, and outdoor areas.
• Possible exposure to hot or cold environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods.
• Move freely inside and outside the store.
• Climb stairs/ladders, kneel, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to learn company systems and procedures.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Trustworthiness in cash handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in retail or related fields.
