Job summary

ALDI USA in Elgin, IL is hiring a Store Associate to assist customers, merchandise, stock shelves, operate the POS and keep the store clean. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service and efficient checkout experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS, cash register, scrubber.
• Ability to interpret ALDI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products to maintain planograms.
• Operate POS system to scan items and process purchases.
• Cash handling in accordance with store policies.
• Open additional check lanes as needed to speed checkout.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize shelves.
