The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help in locating additional items when needed.
3. Performing cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational, and staying current with services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development opportunities.
8. Embracing and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs to support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include remaining upright for sustained periods, lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and visual acuity for activities like reading and inspection of small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Time type: Part-time

Pay range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
