The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance in locating additional items when needed.
3. Accurately performing cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing customer support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are stocked and operational, and staying current with all services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support growth and career development.
8. Embracing and promoting new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Physical requirements include standing for sustained periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, and visual acuity for tasks like reading and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Education
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Pay Range
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
