The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, customer-focused role, working independently and as part of a team to make a positive impact.

Essential Functions

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting with locating items.
• Performing cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit transactions following company policies.
• Maintaining the sales floor through restocking, vendor check-ins, pricing updates, and inventory management.
• Supporting opening and closing activities as needed.
• Supporting departments like photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational, and staying updated on services and tools.
• Assisting pharmacy staff when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
• Promoting CVS services and loyalty programs aligned with our purpose of supporting health.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and handling objects overhead.
• Having close visual acuity for activities like reading and inspecting small parts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
