Job description

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. They are expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of product quality and store appearance. The role involves achieving excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.

The individual selected for this role will work at Store #2994, located at: 1107 Church Street, Georgetown, SC 29440. This is a part-time position.

Job duties include contact with customers, which may involve minors; and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. A criminal history review is required to protect the business, its reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, especially Spanish
