The Retail Store Associate position offers an opportunity in a leading retail setting to excel in a growing, high-impact, customer-focused role. You will work both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions

1. Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving service issues.
2. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
3. Performing cashier duties accurately, handling transactions with precision following company policies.
4. Maintaining the sales floor through restocking, vendor check-ins, updating pricing, and inventory management as directed.
5. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
6. Providing support across departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational, and staying updated on services and tools.
7. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
8. Promoting CVS services and loyalty programs aligned with our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and exert force up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading, visual inspection, and viewing screens.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service settings preferred.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 20

Time type: Part time

Pay range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
