Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, contributing to a customer‑focused retail setting where responsibilities include serving customers, completing cashier duties, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting pharmacy operations.

Essential Functions

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues.
• Offer warm greetings and help locate additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and managing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing activities when needed.
• Provide customer support across departments, ensuring items are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular pharmacy shifts as growth opportunities.
• Advocate new CVS services and loyalty programs to aid customers on their path to better health.

Physical Requirements

• Remain upright for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and lighter loads regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection of small parts/details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
