Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will supervise associates, ensure procedures are followed, and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment in Overland Park, Kansas.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, implementing programs from the Store Support Center, and coordinating with the General Manager on district projects. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work independently and flexible hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group and assist customers.
• Oversee store operations, including opening/closing and loss prevention.
• Train and supervise associates; ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Communicate issues to appropriate departments with approval by the General Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
