Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Moscow, Idaho to help oversee daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and support team development.

You will assist with merchandise flow, schedules, and loss prevention while ensuring store standards and a positive, safe environment for customers and associates. This role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, records, and loss prevention.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure security.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff compliance.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
