As an Assistant Store Manager, provide support to the store manager in managing store operations. Responsible for staff shift management, labor hours, human resource development, product ordering, inventory control, and operational management of product development. Ensure compliance with store laws and regulations, and report issues to the store manager and instructors.

Essential Functions:

• Improve customer service quality, customer relations, and store cleanliness
• Recruitment, staff training, counseling, and building effective work operations
• Manage and supervise staff, ensure compliance with company rules, monitor working conditions and attitudes, and manage shifts
• Order stock appropriately, organize sales areas, control losses, and manage inventory
• Execute and manage sales plans, organize merchandise, and replenish stock
• Achieve sales goals, monitor basket counts, manage loss, and inventory turnover days
• Manage cash register float and safe money
• Organize forms, documents, manuals, files, and records
• Manage store equipment and fixtures
• Ensure store security, prevent crime, and maintain store interior and organization
• Operate based on company guidelines

Education Requirements: High school Diploma/GED

Work Experience Requirements: 2+ years
