Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Experience with operating systems, security, storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the mid-term technical roadmap for Platforms Infrastructure Engineering. Align team priorities, strategy, and emerging data center technology evaluations with organizational goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers. Set role-based expectations, conduct 1:1s, provide ongoing coaching, and manage budget, resourcing, and tooling needs.
• Drive all phases of the software development lifecycle—from architecture and coding to code reviews, release management, and fleet-wide rollout-ensuring high standards for quality, security, and testability.
• Oversee system design and implementation for critical security features, including firmware signing, attestation, confidential compute, data center key management, and media sanitization.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external standards bodies to align designs and coordinate releases.
