Job summary

You will mentor engineers, partner with product teams, and set technical direction to scale storage for trillions of objects, achieving high availability and cost efficiency within AWS UC/S3 ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading engineering teams
• 7+ years within engineering teams
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems
• 8+ years leading multi-tier web services development
• Knowledge of full software/hardware/networks SDLC, including reviews, source control, build, tests, live-site ops
• Experience partnering with product/program management teams

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the S3 storage service and drive design and implementation decisions
• Define deliverables and plan improvements to performance and throughput
• Partner with technical leaders and other S3 teams to scale storage for AWS scale
