Job summary

Jomsom Staffing Services Nevada in Pahrump, NV is seeking an Operations Assistant (Storage & Logistics) for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. The position combines office administration with yard work, and starts at $15.00/hour during training, with potential to convert to permanent.

You’ll handle reservations, drive and park moving trucks, assist customers with trailers, and manage FedEx shipping tasks using WSS, PostalMate, and iPostal.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required to move trucks and trailers.
• High School Diploma or GED; must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Strong organizational skills with accuracy and punctuality.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stay active on your feet.
• Willingness to learn new databases and shipping software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Handle reservations, check-ins, rentals, and returns.
• Safely move trucks and trailers around the property.
• Assist customers with hooking trailers and safety checks.
• Inspect returned trucks and clean cabs and cargo areas.
• Complete the U-Haul University training app (takes about 1–2 days).
