Job summary

Eco-Energy White River LLC is seeking an experienced Storage Field Operator to manage the day-to-day operations of an underground natural gas storage facility in Southern Indiana. You will monitor injection and withdrawal cycles, perform routine field rounds, maintain surface equipment, and ensure safe, reliable operation of wells, pipelines and gas treating systems.

This role supports SOP development and safety programs as the facility scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in natural gas operations (compression, pipeline, storage, production, or midstream).
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for natural gas facilities.
• Experience developing or implementing operating procedures and safety programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond to operational issues and emergencies outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of underground natural gas storage facility components (wells, gathering systems, compression, treating, metering).
• Monitor injection and withdrawal cycles and coordinate with commercial/operational needs.
• Conduct field rounds, inspect equipment for leaks and integrity, and manage startup/shutdown activities.
• Maintain regulatory records, inspection logs, and maintenance documentation.
• Support safety culture, training, and coordination with management and contractors.
