Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Storage Architecture Lead to define scalable storage and data-protection platforms for EDA and corporate workloads.

You will shape roadmaps across file, block, object, and data protection, balancing performance, security, and cost in both datacenters and the cloud. You will lead a team of engineers, mentor staff, and collaborate with IT, Security, and Compliance to ensure reliable storage services, observability, and automation using IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve storage platform roadmap across file, block, object storage and data protection.
• Lead storage design reviews for AI workloads with high IOPS and low latency.
• Define disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and data governance standards.
• Ensure security, encryption, RBAC, audit logging, and data governance alignment.
• Manage capacity planning, vendor relations, renewals, and lifecycle management.
• Mentor onshore and offshore engineers and drive reliability and automation.
