Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Storage Engineer in Colorado Springs to support the DIA CIO CIS program. You will design, deliver, and maintain enterprise storage architectures, collaborating with operations and government stakeholders to meet security, performance, and availability objectives.

The role involves leading AoAs, ensuring data-in-transit and at-rest protections, and contributing to accreditation efforts while advancing storage solutions for a mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• DOD 8140 certification applicable to role (Security+)
• 4+ years hands-on IT hardware/software design and implementation
• Experience with storage design concepts: allocation, provisioning, configuration, security, throughput
• NCDA or equivalent vendor certification required

Responsibilities

• Analyze software versions, patches and upgrades for compliance and timelines
• Incorporate data security in designs and testing
• Design disaster recovery and backup/archival procedures
• Create performance and usage reports using office tools
• Test and facilitate accreditation to obtain IATT/ATO
• Develop wiring diagrams, SOPs, security docs and procedures
• Refine CONOPS and system architectures for design alignment
• Collaborate with teams and government Stakeholders to ensure availability and resiliency
• Research AoAs and design trade-offs for new tech
• Support transition to Operations and ongoing maintenance
