Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–7 years in storage administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong SAN/NAS knowledge with enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, cloud storage).
• Experience with data protection, disaster recovery planning, and root cause analysis.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage SAN and NAS systems including zoning, LUN presentation, and tuning.
• Design and implement snapshot, replication, and backup strategies meeting RTO/RPO.
• Conduct capacity planning and forecast storage growth; recommend expansion and tiering.
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues in virtualized or application environments.
• Document storage architectures, standards, and runbooks for audits.
• Collaborate with backup and virtualization teams to align storage with infrastructure strategies.
