Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently working within an enterprise-level storage environment.
• Experience with Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products and/or Rubrik r6000 series data protection products.
• Experience with Brocade G-series fabric switch products.
• Ability to follow and deliver Product Development Life Cycle documentation as part of product evaluation and certification process.
• Competent in Windows, Linux/UNIX-like OS, I/O and network stack tuning and performance profiling.
• Understanding how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable components.
• Familiar with DevOps tools and version control systems (SVN, GitLab).
• Familiar with SRE principles such as user journeys, SLI/SLO, and synthetic probers.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.

We\'re looking for someone who has been mainly focused on product engineering more than operational support, and the primary experience we\'re looking for is one or more of:

Product Testing

Basic Qualifications

Currently working within an enterprise-level storage environment

Experienced in Pure Storage FlashArray block storage products and/or in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with engineering and operating a hybrid cloud delivery model with focus on data coherency between on-prem and off-prem components.

Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices.

Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure)

Familiarity with hypervisors (ESX)

Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi), file (Netapp, Dell Unity), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain).

Familiarity with Elastic Search and Kibana

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.34/hour - $47.40/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
