Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred or a minimum of 1 year of prior management experience.
• Ability to obtain CDL Class B License or higher.
• Must maintain a current/valid driver license in the assigned state.
• Must obtain PODS forklift certification.
• Must obtain a valid DOT medical card.
• Mechanical ability to identify equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day supervision of a storage center and associates.
• Assist Market Manager in meeting customers’ expectations.
• Maintain OSHA and preventative maintenance programs for the storage center.
• Dispatch & time-stamping assistance for drivers; print and check waybills.
• Coordinate with local and IF drivers; develop efficient plan to pull containers.
• Lead container audits, safety trainings, and IDP progress for staff.
