Role Description The Stone & Tile Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for coordinating project engineering activities from pre-construction through final installation, including reviewing architectural drawings, developing shop drawings, and ensuring technical accuracy for stone and tile systems. The role involves planning project scopes, sequencing work, and collaborating with project managers, field supervisors, suppliers, and clients to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include material take-offs, technical submittals, RFIs, and support for installation crews, as well as resolving design and site issues in coordination with general contractors and architects. The Project Engineer will monitor progress, document changes, and help implement best practices for safety, sustainability, and quality control across assigned projects.
