Job summary

BearCom, part of Stone Security, seeks a Project Technician to join a growing team. You will install and commission security systems, network cameras, and access control hardware across client sites, with training and customer handoff upon project completion.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Milestone/Axis/Bosch security cameras and Lenel/S2 access control, plus a good grasp of IT basics. Expect travel and opportunities for certification-based growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of related work experience in security installation.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate devices.
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; repair as needed.
• Ensure installations comply with Stone Security standards.
• Travel is required.

Together, BearCom and Stone Security deliver communication, technology, and security solutions that help organizations operate safely, efficiently, and effectively – offering customers scalable solutions and employees the platform to build meaningful, high-impact careers.We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician to join our growing team.JOB DESCRIPTIONDuties & Responsibilities:Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects.Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications.Performs other related duties as required.Travel is required.As a Project Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Stone grows.Three years of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch)Three years of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch)Three years of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Proven track record of leading a security installation team.Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.3 years of related work experience requiredOn-the-job training may be provided.Physical Requirements:Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.BENEFITSStone wants to elevate your professional growth!
