Job summary

Stone Security, LLC is seeking a Project Technician to install, program, start up, and certify security systems on customer projects in the Seattle area. You will train customers and ensure installations meet Stone Security standards and industry regulations.

This role requires 3+ years of experience with network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch), access control (Lenel, S2), and security system installs; an EL06 license is required. Travel for projects is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch).
• 3+ years installing security systems (DMP, Bosch).
• 3+ years installing access control (Lenel, S2).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven track record leading a security installation team.
• Aptitude for networking, computers, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start up, certify, and train customers on projects.
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate devices.
• Inspect/test systems, batteries, wiring; repair as needed.
• Replace malfunctioning hardware as required.
• Ensure installations comply with Stone Security standards and regulations.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals to determine procedures; assist with complex specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe job-site environment.
• Travel as needed for project assignments.
• Collaborate with team and grow with the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, program, start up, check out, certify, and provide customer training on assigned projects
• Run wiring, install hardware, and field terminate all devices
• Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; adjust and repair as needed
• Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary
• Ensure all installations comply withStone Security standardsand industry regulations
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures; may require assistance with more complex specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites
• Perform other related duties as required
• Travel as needed for project assignments
• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, with opportunities to grow as Stone Security grows

Qualifications/Skills:

• Active EL06 license required
• Minimum 3 years of experience installingnetwork camera systems(Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Bosch)
• Minimum 3 years of experience installing security systems(DMP, Bosch)
• Minimum 3 years of experience installing access control systems(Lenel, S2)

Education/Experience:

• On-the-job training may be provided

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use hand and power tools for hardware installation
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
• Physically able to install system hardware and wiring
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs at a time
