Job summary

BearCom, in partnership with Stone Security, is seeking a Project Manager to lead security and technology projects from initiation through implementation. You will identify risks, manage schedules, budget, and coordinate permits, subcontractors, and vendors to meet customer objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security project management, construction experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with LenelS2, Milestone, and TCP/IP networking is

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of security and project management experience.
• Experience in construction and security industries.
• Able to engage with all levels of management.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).
• Knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems; LenelS2/Milestone preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, internal and external.
• Oversee project progression from inception to completion, including permits and subcontractors.
• Ensure scope, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
• Maintain installation schedules and coordinate with other trades.
• Troubleshoot issues and mitigate impacts.
• Plan and schedule engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities.
• Manage multiple projects across the Southeast without supervision.
• Control project budget and profitability.
• Execute change orders.

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, supervision, and implementation of projects related to the customers' objectives. Responsibilities also include proactively identifying project risks and mitigation strategies for those risks, building, maintaining, and tracking project schedules, capturing, categorizing, and identifying the resolution of project issues.

Job Responsibilities And Duties

• Exceptional communication with all stakeholders, external and internal
• Oversee project progression from inception to completion, including permits, material delivery, contracting, managing subcontractors, etc.
• Understanding of project scope and completing projects on time and within budget
• Maintains installation schedules and coordinates task scheduling with other trades
• Troubleshoot project issues and engage appropriate resources as needed to mitigate impacts
• Plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities of assigned projects
• Manage multiple small to large-scale projects simultaneously across the Southeast without supervision.
• Manage project budget and project profitability
• Manage and execute project change orders

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of security and project management experience
• Ability to engage with all levels of management
• Individuals will be technically inclined, have good written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated, be dependable to work under little supervision, and be eager to learn.
• Must have experience in the construction field and security industry
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
• Strong technical knowledge of relevant technology and tools, i.e., access control, video surveillance, and intrusion.
• Experience in LenelS2 and Milestone preferred
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
