Advanced Interiors is seeking a dedicated Stone Polisher/Finisher to join our Stone Division in Michigan. The role focuses on polishing, finishing, and detailing granite, marble, and quartz surfaces to meet exact specifications and quality standards.

You will operate finishing equipment safely, maintain an organized workspace, and collaborate with the Production Supervisor and fellow stone finishers to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Proficiency using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in stone fabrication is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Polish, hone, and finish stone surfaces and edges to meet finish requirements.
• Operate polishing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform edge detailing, touch-ups, and repairs as needed.
• Follow work orders and production specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Company Intro

Advanced Interiors is a leading provider of interior finishes for the residential new home market. We also serve retail, remodeling, commercial, and multi-family clients. Our offerings include flooring, cabinetry, and a dedicated Stone Division specializing in the fabrication and installation of granite, marble, and quartz surfaces.

Shift Hours

Typically Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary

This position is responsible for polishing, finishing, and detailing stone products to meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, safe operation of finishing equipment, and a commitment to producing quality work while maintaining an efficient and organized workspace.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Polish, hone, and finish stone surfaces and edges to meet specified finish requirements
• Operate polishing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform edge detailing, touch-ups, and repairs as needed
• Follow work orders and production specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate issues and concerns to the Production Supervisor
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Key Collaborators

Reports directly to the Production Supervisor and works closely with other Stone Polishers/Finishers, Machine Operators, Quality Control, and other production team members.

Physical Demands

Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, and without posing a risk to personal or team safety.
