• The starting hourly range for this position is between $20 - 22/hr depending on experience
• Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate

Responsibilities

• As a Polisher for Stone Systems, you are going to be responsible for operating polishing equipment to obtain the desired polish and luster on parts and products
• Polish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power tools
• Apply pressure to polish, glaze, and buff while making sure dimensions stay the same
• Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible rework
• Ensure proper use of equipment
• Work in a collaborative environment by helping coworkers in other stations if needed
• Maintain a clean station
• Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etc
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Other duties as assigned
