Job description

StoicLane is a holding company and long-term growth platform. Founded in 2021, we acquire and scale companies across financial services, insurance, real estate services, and business services—pairing strategic capital with technology and disciplined operating support to help great businesses grow faster and smarter.

We operate through five high-growth verticals. Monarch Collective is building a best-in-class vacation rental property management platform. Ascribe delivers appraisal, valuation, inspection, and asset management solutions for residential and commercial properties. Archer Lewis provides accounting, tax, and attest services to individuals and small businesses. Armhr is a technology-forward PEO offering comprehensive HR solutions. Reverus delivers secure, modern IT infrastructure and managed services for businesses of all sizes.

Across these companies, StoicLane offers a chance to build, scale, and transform businesses in real time. You’ll join a platform that is still early in its journey—growing quickly, taking on ambitious challenges, and shaping the future alongside leaders who value curiosity, ownership, and momentum.

About the StoicLane Management Program and Role

The StoicLane Management Development Program is designed to build a strong bench of future leaders who combine financial fluency with hands‑on operating experience across StoicLane’s expanding portfolio. This is a two-year, high-intensity rotational program built for top-performing finance professionals who want to broaden beyond deal work and develop the skill set required to lead—and ultimately run—operating businesses.

Over 24 months, associates complete 2–4 rotations, determined by business priorities, associate strengths, and development goals. Rotations may include:

  • Corporate Finance & Strategy
  • Portfolio Company Strategy & Operations
  • M&A Integration and Value Creation

Rotation lengths are intentionally flexible, allowing the program to match real-time business needs and maximize associate development. Post program, associates exit with a powerful blend of financial acumen, operational depth, and cross‑business perspective.

What Rotations May Include:
Corporate Finance & Strategy
  • Build and refine financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
  • Analyze operating and financial performance across multiple business units
  • Prepare materials for Investment Committee and Board discussions
  • Support diligence, integration, and strategic planning for acquisitions
  • Partner with leadership teams on KPI development and performance reporting
Portfolio Company Strategy & Operations
  • Lead projects involving pricing, margin expansion, growth strategy, or process redesign
  • Conduct operator-level analytics, including margin drivers, customer segmentation, and whitespace identification
  • Build dashboards and insights that enhance decision-making and operational execution
  • Work with CEOs, COOs, and functional leaders to build scalable systems and operating discipline
M&A Integration Value Creation
  • Identify process gaps or performance bottlenecks in high-growth or multi-site environments
  • Develop playbooks and frameworks for operational rigor and efficiency
  • Drive cross-functional problem-solving across finance, operations, and commercial teams
  • Support integration and optimization of newly acquired businesses
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate development, or strategic finance
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to synthesize complexity into clear, executive‑ready insights
  • Demonstrated ownership of workstreams in fast‑paced environments
  • Comfort engaging directly with senior leaders and operators
Mindsets & Behaviors
  • Bias toward action; comfort with ambiguity and imperfect information
  • Curiosity about how companies operate, scale, and create value
  • Strong relationship‑building and influencing skills
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves in operational environments
  • Ambition to grow into a future operator, functional leader, or GM
What You’ll Gain

This program is built for individuals who want to become well‑rounded operators—equipped to lead teams, scale businesses, and deliver lasting value.

  • Exposure to both the financial and operating sides of a permanent capital platform
  • Hands‑on experience across multiple sectors including financial services, insurance, real‑estate services, and business services
  • Direct mentorship from senior leaders at both the holding company and portfolio companies
  • Ownership of high‑impact projects with measurable business results
  • A post‑program pathway toward roles in:
  • Strategic Finance or FP&A
  • Investments/M&A
  • General Management, Business unit or functional leadership
  • As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible time off
