Job summary

MHX, LLC in Stockton, California seeks an experienced Terminal Manager to lead daily operations at the Stockton terminal, ensuring safe, timely and reliable movement of customer products.

You will supervise managers and drivers, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and build strong customer relationships while driving efficiency and performance. This is a full-time role with weekly pay and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of warehouse, transload, terminal, or related operations-management experience.
• Rail or rail-served terminal experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inbound and outbound truck and rail logistics.
• Familiarity with OSHA compliance standards and DOT regulations.
• Proven leadership and employee-development skills.
• Experience managing budgets and operating costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient operation of the Stockton terminal.
• Manage inbound and outbound truck and rail traffic.
• Ensure efficient unloading, reloading, and timely release of railcars.
• Monitor truck dwell times and identify throughput improvements.
• Oversee product storage, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments.
• Manage facility budgets and control operating costs.
• Track and manage demurrage.
• Maintain compliance with federal and California laws, OSHA, DOT, and policies.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
• Establish, document, and continuously improve operating procedures.
• Identify safety, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships and resolve service issues.
• Protect company property and ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
