Job summary

Yara North America is seeking a Facilities Operator - Maintenance at the Stockton Dry Terminal in Stockton, CA. The role oversees maintenance of terminal assets, equipment and rolling stock, and ensures safe, efficient operations.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of maintenance experience, welding skills, and strong mechanical/instrumentation knowledge. Proficiency with CMMS and safety certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding experience.
• Strong mechanical/instrumentation skills.
• Familiarity with conveyor systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• CMMS experience.
• Lean / 5S methodologies knowledge.
• TWIC not required for US work authorization.
• Safety oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and general maintenance procedures to all terminal assets.
• Develop and implement a proactive preventive maintenance program for terminal.
• Monitor product flow channels to minimize buildup on equipment (conveyors, hoppers, elevators).
• Assist with vessel discharges and monitor inbound product into storage bins.
• Minimize product degradation by proper operation of terminal equipment.
• Train colleagues in terminal maintenance duties; operate Front End Payloaders, Forklifts, Yard Truck, etc.
• Develop familiarity with CMMS; back-up operator duties.
• Maintain rolling stock and warehouse equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Perform other duties assigned by Terminal Manager and cross-train with staff.
