Job summary

MHI RJ Aviation Group in Bridgeport, WV, is seeking a dedicated Stockroom Technician to support inventory, parts handling and shipping/receiving. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards in a climate-controlled hangar environment.

Position is full-time, on-site, with a 12-hour shift rotation (3/4/4/3) including days, nights and weekends. On-site collaboration at our Bridgeport facility is essential for success and growth within the One Unified Team.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving or tool crib.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Customer service mentality.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Working knowledge of MS Office preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Receive and visually inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage.
• Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment per aircraft delivery schedules.
• Verify and reconcile documentation on parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts and perpetual inventory.
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments and stock movements across the facility.
• Provide handover notes for oncoming shifts.
• Issue tools and rental equipment to authorized personnel.

Purpose of the role:

MHIRJ’s network of service centers, support offices and parts depots are positioned in important aviation hubs in the U.S. The Stockroom Technician will receive and inspect incoming and outgoing materials; order and distribute materials. Maintain inventory of purchased and manufactured parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment.

Here are the daily responsibilities of a Stockroom Technician:

• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures and perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
• Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage
• Distribute parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules.
• Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
• Assist in loading / unloading shipments.
• Transport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facility.
• Provide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts.
• Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and / or rental equipment to authorized personnel.

Here is what is required to succeed:

• Typically, 6 months - 2 years’ experience in one of the following:
  • Warehouse
  • Shipping / Receiving
  • Tool Crib
• Valid Driver’s License
• Customer service experience mentality
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of SAP or similar system
