Job summary

Jabil in Gurnee, IL is seeking a Stockroom Supervisor to oversee the receipt and storage of equipment, materials, and merchandise, and to support a team of 10–12 direct reports.

You will recruit and interview stockroom staff, set criteria for candidates, monitor turnover, develop training, coach and mentor the team, manage succession plans, track performance, and coordinate with other departments to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of experience, with two years in a supervisory role.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience using RF readers and SAP required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview Stockroom employees.
• Communicate criteria to recruiters for Stockroom position candidates.
• Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
• Oversee maintenance of stock records and tagging for identification.
