Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of food service or healthcare stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, receiving, storage, and stock rotation practices.
  • Experience with inventory management and purchasing software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily stockroom and receiving operations.
  • Verify incoming deliveries for product accuracy, quantity, pricing, quality, and temperature.
  • Maintain receiving temperature logs and conduct daily inventory and storage audit.
  • Ensure proper food rotation, labeling, dating, and inventory organization.
  • Identify and communicate product quality concerns, shortages, and expirations.
  • Assign and oversee sanitation and maintenance of coolers, freezers, storerooms, and supplement rooms.
  • Direct daily work activities of union stockroom employees and promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of retail locations and fulfillment of patient service and catering requisitions.
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory and purchasing systems and provide operational support in the absence of the Inventory Control Manager.

Join our Food & Retail Services team as a Stockroom Supervisor!

The Stockroom Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the food service stockroom, receiving activities, inventory storage, and product distribution. This hands‑on leadership role supervises union stockroom staff, ensures inventory accuracy, food safety compliance, and fulfillment of requisitions.

Salary:$69,615.00 per year

FLSA Status:Exempt

Schedule: Full-time; must have flexibility to work weekends or evenings depending on departmental needs

Required Qualifications:
