Job summary

Brobston Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Receiving Associate to process incoming and outgoing merchandise, maintain organized stockroom standards, and prepare items for the sales floor to support a positive customer experience.

You will receive, sort, unpack and dispatch merchandise per company standards; tag and ticket items; handle price changes and damaged goods; maintain safety and cleanliness, and assist the selling team as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Comfort using computers and multiple technology devices.
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, use ladders, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, unpack, and dispatch merchandise and supplies according to company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, including tagging and ticketing items.
• Process price changes, damages, salvages, and job outs, and record trailer deliveries.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom while protecting company assets and following operational procedures.
• Support selling team members as needed.
