Job summary

Homesense at The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring a Store Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards while delivering excellent customer service.

You will work with a team to keep the store organized, tag and process merchandise, and support backroom recovery and safety programs. The role requires 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership exposure, with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changing directions.
• Team player who can train others and contribute to a safe, efficient store flow.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize merchandise processing to the sales floor.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure proper tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise.
• Communicate with leadership to ensure efficient flow of goods and priorities.
