Job summary

Ross Dress For Less is hiring a Retail Associate to welcome customers, maintain a clean and organized store, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, and follow store procedures to support sales goals.

This role emphasizes safety, respectful interactions, and swift assistance at the register, while upholding brand standards and loss-prevention practices across the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
• Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone.
• Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times.
• Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner.
• Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times.
• Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
• Performs cleaning tasks to maintain store areas and restrooms.
• Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company's dress code at all times.
• Follows MOS policies, loss prevention and merchandise protection standards.
