Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to manage warehouse material, parts, and tooling in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role supports the Maintenance Department, ensuring proper storage of inventory and accurate marking of materials. Proficiency in Spanish is required, with aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing items, resolving stock discrepancies, and assisting with Sales and Repair Orders. Forklift operation and MS Office are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Aviation experience: diagnose aircraft parts not in compliance.
  • Ability to move and handle merchandise (0–50 lbs) and operate a forklift.
  • 1 year of aviation industry experience preferred.
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, pulling items from stock and organizing them.
  • Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing item history.
  • Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations.
  • Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct part numbers and serial numbers.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or relocating them to shipping.
  • Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders.
  • Provides customer service for Sales and Quality Inspection to resolve order conflicts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Stockroom Clerk plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This position is location in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and is responsible for providing parts, tooling, and supplies to the Maintenance Department and ensuring all parts and materials are properly stored and protected. This position also assists with marking materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.

  • Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, picking up parts in the stockroom and warehouse.
  • Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing the history of the item.
  • Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations.
  • Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders.
  • Provides customer service for both the Sales Department and outgoing Quality Inspection team in resolving order conflicts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Aviation experience: must be able to diagnose aircraft parts, materials, and component pieces not in compliance.
  • Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the building generally weighing 0 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and ladder.
  • 1 year of experience in aviation industry preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills preferred.
