Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials and parts within the warehouse.
  • Resolve discrepancies between inventory records by tracing item history.
  • Sort and place materials by code, size, or type.
  • Pull inventory for Sales Orders and Engine Builds; transfer to correct location.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N.
  • Assemble customer orders and organize stock for shipping.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Quality teams to resolve order conflicts.

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GAT processes. This role is critical in managing inventory levels, ensuring parts availability, and maintaining regulatory compliance with aviation standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of aviation parts and materials. This role is located in Port Saint Lucie, FL

Important Notice

Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and parts within the warehouse, picking up parts in the stockroom and warehouse.
  • Resolves discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records by tracing the history of the item
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Pulls inventory for Sales Order processing and transfers to new locations.
  • Pulls inventory for Engine Builds and issues to an assigned work order and repair orders.
  • Perform inventory cycle counting
  • Examine and inspect outgoing material for correct P/N and S/N.
  • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Organize the stockroom and material to be pulled for Sales Orders and Repair Orders.
  • Provides customer service for both the Sales Department and outgoing Quality Inspection team in resolving order conflicts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Appropriate application of basic warehouse principles and procedures. Must be able to diagnose parts, materials, and component pieces, not in compliance with company and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the building generally weighing 0 to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and ladder.
  • Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills,
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment,
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and, Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills.
