Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a Stockroom Assistant to support the store by handling orders, processing inventory, and assisting customers with product questions.

Responsibilities include using the ERP system for daily inventory, packing and shipping orders, maintaining safe stock locations, and participating in required training to ensure accuracy and strong customer service inside the Factory Store.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in warehouse or stockroom operations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Friendly and helpful attitude and demeanor
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers
• Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with carrying and installing products in their vehicles and answer on-site product questions
• Provide exceptional service in the Factory Store by receiving, printing, picking, and packing orders and assisting customers
• Use ERP system to manage stockroom inventory, conduct daily/monthly counts, resolve discrepancies, and create BOLs
• Unpack deliveries and place inventory in correct locations
• Ensure stock is stored safely and accessible per regulations
• Maintain knowledge of inventory locations
• Store items in orderly fashion in storage areas
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and storage spaces per safety guidelines
• Label stock items using tags or marking tools
• Interact with customers when applicable
• Provide feedback to management on service failures or customer concerns
• Participate in training on new tasks, products, policies, and safety
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and organized
• Work varied schedule including day/evening/night/weekends/holidays; overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

WeatherTech is seeking a well-qualified Stockroom Assistant to contribute to the overall operation of the stockroom by ensuring all factory store orders are handled properly and timely matter.

Schedules will vary and will include one or both weekend days

As a Stockroom Assistant, you will

• Assist customers with carrying products to and installing products in/on their vehicles, and assisting with on-site customer product questions
• Deliver exceptional customer service and support in the Factory Store by quickly and accurately receiving, printing, picking, and packing customer orders, assisting customers with carrying products to and installing products in/on their vehicles, and assisting with on-site customer product questions
• Utilize ERP system to maintain and manage the stockroom inventory on hand by conducting daily and monthly inventory and cycle counts of the store and stockroom, identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies, creating BOLs for restocking products, and maintaining various daily logs for product returns
• Unpack all deliveries and put inventory into the correct locations
• Ensure all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in compliance with all regulations and department guidelines
• Maintain accurate knowledge of inventory and their respective locations
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in supply rooms or other areas
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations including all established department policies and procedures
• Designate stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Interact with customers when applicable
• Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns
• Participate in required training on new tasks and skills pertinent to the department, product installation, company policies, and safety guidelines
• Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Work a varied schedule consisting of day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday hours; work overtime as business demands
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

• Have 6 months of experience in warehouse or stockroom operations
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude and demeanor
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with customers
• Have a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Be authorized to work in the United States
