Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician – Level 2 to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used in Injection Molding and Thermoforming production processes. The role offers a base hourly rate starting at $28 per hour with a $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential.

Responsibilities include operating tools, performing PM tasks, communicating priorities between shifts, and training teammates while maintaining safety and efficiency in a clean, orderly work environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
• Level 1 Maintenance Technician with Joliet Junior College course certificates or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand English work orders/instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools for maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and robotics components.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and daily checks.
• Record maintenance data and repairs in the computer system.

2 nd Shift Warehouse Maintenance Technician – Level 2

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Warehouse MaintenanceTechnician- Level 2to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process.

• Additional compensation: $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential

As a Warehouse Maintenance Technician – Level 2, you will

• Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority
• Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks
• Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates
• Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks
• Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs
• Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity
• Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Industrial Maintenance Technology and/or the equivalent with demonstrated experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.
• Current Level 1 Maintenance Technician that has continued on with their education and has Certificate of Completions in the following courses with a grade C or better (curriculum derived from the Joliet Junior College) and/or equivalent job experience:
  • EEAS 113: Industrial Controls 2
  • IMT 123: Maintenance Management
  • TMT 102: Technical Mathematics
  • EEAS 223 - Industrial Circuits-Advanced Programmable Controllers
  • EEAS 225 - Automated Systems
  • EEAS 240 - Motors and Drives
• Basic math, measuring, and computer skills required
• Team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic; must be dependable with excellent attendance
• Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
• Demonstrate knowledge of performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems
• Ability to read machinery manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations as they pertain to manufacturing and/or completion of OSHA 10 Hours training course
• High degree of attention and detail required to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
