Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and organized overnight. You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and dispose of waste in back rooms. You’ll work closely with leadership to complete tasks on time while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
