Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a stock associate to stock shelves with grocery products, move items from pallets to shelves, and maintain an organized, safe store environment. You will work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time and support other tasks as needed.

The role requires physical work, comfort with basic technology, and a willingness to work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. Meijer offers family-friendly benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished. What You’ll Do

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
