Job summary

Meijer in Loveland, OH is hiring a Stocking Clerk who helps keep shelves stocked to ensure a smooth shopping experience. You will stock shelves with food and grocery items, move products from pallets to correct locations, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while providing friendly service.

This role offers weekly pay, shift flexibility, and benefits such as parental leave and education assistance as part of Meijer's Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and supportive of shared goals.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
